Vending Machine Tea and Cold Pizza

That's what I'm eating right now lol. It's funny how my first night on campus i would begin by eating the most stereotypical student dinner ever. But seriously a series of events that I couldn't control led to this.

Let me begin by saying all of this is surreal. I dreamed about moving out for so long that now that it finally happened it's not quite tangible. I keep staring at my surroundings thinking about how badly I want to hold on to them ... I'm so happy right now that I can barely articulate it.

So once I got here I basically just tossed everything everywhere and my dorm is sort of like that now. I was really lucky and got one of those corner dorms that are really large for no reason. I also got here early so my side of the dorm is bigger. here are some pictures (I tried to do a panoramic). Ignore how all the stuff is strewn all over the place. I figure I have plenty of time to fix it.


So after attempting to arrange it in here a little (I still have to get someone to loft my bed ... either the guy in the room facing mine who lofted his own , or through the maintenence office) it was close to 6 and I had to go to this meeting for SSS program members. SSS is basically like a little club where we are just here to bond and stuff. Tomorrow I have to get up at 7 a.m. and we go camping. In the mountains. I'm looking forward to the "bonding" lol. Hopefully "bonding" means team athletic activities. Whoo! Anyway so I asked my cousins to come and we geeked the entire time. Like the funniest quote from that meeting was a mockery of Maury we made up :

"I KNOW HE AINT HER BABY DADDY CAUSE I WAS ON THE PHONE..."

And I just had a great time in general. We had lunch at the meeting but it was not particularly filling. Everyone was with their family and parents and what not so I decided to head back to my dorm and grab some cash so we could go get some REAL food and chill for a bit. I'll meet the others when we "bond" in the woods lol. Im so excited because they're all really interesting. Anyway back to going out. We went to subway and ordered pizza, and I went to a convenience store and got a nine volt battery for my alarm clock, some light bulbs, and a pink powerade that was *SUPPOSED* to last me all night. except i ended up leaving it in the car. And I got like some folders and pens. We had so much fun. The most fun part was when a bunch of random guys came into subway while we were chilling. We were geeking so hard - and there was this one guy who was drop dead sexy. I totally had a crush on him the moment I saw him and that
VERY
VERY
RARELY
happens.
My cousin was trying to talk to him but one thing led to another and we ended up talking instead. He goes to a college down the street lol ... I'm so partying down there now.

Anyway so blah blah blah i gotta go to bed soon so lemme see if I missed anything. Oh yeah I met the guy across from my dorm. He has a gamecube and so do I and he lofted his bed himself which is cool. Other than him i think the rest of the dorms are all empty so far. Oh and once I got back at 10:33 and realized i had no beverages I had to go on a manhunt for a vending machine. grrr. The first one I found was totally broke and kept taking my money and then giving it bavk and finally cheating me out of 75 cents. But then I found a good one. I gotta go to bed now because tomorrow i'm gonna be up in the mountains
